We have received a copy of the construction schedule, but the Owner and SEH is very concerned about the progress being made on this project and do not want delays on the completion of the work. The schedule delivered to Sam Bontrager on October 2, 2000 has the completion dale set on December 6, 2000. This leaves the timing of everything critical with no room for time adjustment. Currently, we have not received any indication from you that additional time is needed for the completion of the project. [t is our understanding that presently there are no justifiable reasons for extension of time. As a reminder, changes in the contract time needs to be administered within 21 days of any given event as per 4.3 of the General Conditions. We also assume you are forwarding this information to all the other subcontractors and mechanical and electrical contractors as per the contract documents. We are also, again, requesting that you provide us with the list of subcontractors and suppliers ['or this project as per Section 01330 1.0[ A. We are currently frustrated with the inability to fax you information, therefore we would appreciate the installation of the fax machine as identified in 1500 C. 1. This will greatly assist in getting information to you in a timely manner. It would also help us if you would please provide us with RFI's in writing for most of the questions you have regarding the contract documents. This will enable us to keep better documentation of the issues you have on site. [t will also help us to be responsive to your needs before it becomes a critical timing issue. Finally, we need to reemphasize the need to keep this project moving[! Delays in the project equate to more costs and we do not want this to become an issue. c.
