A copy of Ms. Moore- <br />Syke's resignation letter is attached. <br /> <br />As a result of Ms. Moore-Syke's resignation, the position of Assistant City Administrator <br />will be vacant. In. accordance with the City's Personnel Policy (Section 3.20.035, <br />Recruitment and Selection), administrative staff has begun the process to recruit a <br />replacement for this vacancy. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that City Council adopt a resolution accepting Kim Moore-Syke's <br />resignation from the position of Assistant City Administrator effective October 12, 2001, <br />and authorize staff to continue the hiring process to fill the vacant Assistant City <br />Administrator position. / <br />Committee Action: 5¢ <br />Motion to recommend that City Council adopt a resolution accepting Klm Moore-Syke's <br />resignation from the position of Assistant City Administrator effective October 12, 2001, <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to recommend that City Council authorize staff to continue the hiring process to <br />fill the vacant Assistant City Administrator position. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />PC: 10/9/01 <br /> <br />-231- <br /> <br /> <br />
