Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-10- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 1sT PARTIAL PAYMENT TO TMI COATINGS, INC. <br />FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #01-21 (REPAINTING OF WATER TOWER NO 1) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 27, 2001, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-05- <br />199 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #01-21, Repainting of Water Tower No. 1 in the <br />amount of $77,800.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Engineer Steven Jankowski inspected the completed work and <br />recommended payment to TMI Coatings, Inc. in the amount of $43,681.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to TMI Coatings, Inc. for <br />Improvement Project #01-21, Repainting of Water Tower No. 1 in the amount of <br />$43,681.00 on October 9th, 2001. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form <br />for this payment. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of <br />bills for the month of October, 2001. <br /> <br />4) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a sig'ned copy of this <br />resolution. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember_ <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 9th day of October, 2001. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-10- <br />Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br />-77- <br /> <br /> <br />
