Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01-10- RESOLUTION APPROVING l0TM PARTIAL PAYMENT TO CB & I CONSTRUCTORS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-64 (WATER TOWER NO. 2) WHEREAS, on May 23, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Improvement Project #9%64; and WHEREAS, on July 25, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-07-184 awarding the bid for the construction of Water Tower No. 2 to PDM Corporation in the amount of $ i ,455,000; and WHEREAS, CB & l Constructors, Inc..has acquired PDM Corporation since the onset of this project; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowski has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to CB & I Constructors, Inc. in the amount of $50,540.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to CB & I Constructors, Inc. for construction of Water Tower No. 2 project in the amount of $50,540.00. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of October 9th , 2001.. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
