CASE #: ~ <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED <br />VACATION OF CERTAIN STREETS <br /> By: Steven Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />A review of the City map resulted in identification of three segments of dedicated City <br />streets, which no longer appear to have any reasonable public purpose for roadway. All <br />three of these street segments are illustrated on the attached figures and are described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Segment #! That portion of 152na Avenue NW west of the western right-of- <br /> way of Salish Street NW <br /> <br />Segment #2 That portion of Juniper Ridge Drive NW located east of the eastern <br /> right-of-way extension of Salish Street NW <br /> <br />Segment #3 That portion of 150th Avenue NW west of the western right of way <br /> of Xkimo Street <br /> <br />Probable future public purpose for each of these segments was eliminated as a result of <br />subsequent development patterns in adjacent area. <br /> <br />Action: <br /> <br />Following the public hearing council action would b'e to order the introduction of an <br />ordinance vacating these segments of City streets, assuming no adverse comments are <br />introduced.
