Norman, City Administrator <br /> Scan Sullivan, TIF Specialist <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Staff has been working with Advance Resources for Development to prepare the modification to the boundary <br />of Development District No. 1 to expand the area of the Development District. In November of 1998 the City <br />Council authorized the modification of the Development District to include most of the area which is south of <br />what is now known as Alpine Drive. An area was excluded from the Development District included the area <br />south of the railroad tracks and north of Highway 10 because Alpine Drive intersects with Highway 10 to the <br />east of the potential development area. Current discussions to develop this area would require inclusion in the <br />Development District. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends the Council to approve the new boundary of Development District No. 1 as pictured on the <br />attached map. <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution # 00-l O~XXX approving an amended and restated development program for Development <br />District No. 1 <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />TIF Specialist <br /> <br />CC: 10/23/01 <br /> <br />-161- <br /> <br /> <br />
