A total of <br />20 bids were received as shown on 'the attached list of bid results. The bids ranged from <br />$311,633.05 to $417,428.00. The three Iow bids and the engineer's estimate for the project <br />were as follows: <br /> <br />BIDDER <br />Richard Knutson, Inc. <br />Erickson Construction <br />R.P. Utilities, Inc. <br /> <br />Engineer's Estimate <br /> <br />BID AMOUNT <br /> <br />$311,633.05 <br />$323,310.11 <br />$335,696.13 <br /> <br />$325,196.25 <br /> <br />In comparing the Iow bid to the Engineer's Estimate, the Iow bid is approximately 4% <br />(percent) below the Engineer's estimate. <br /> <br />Richard Knutson, Inc. is a Savage, Minnesota contractor, and has satisfactorily completed <br />similar projects in the City of Ramsey and the Metropolitan area in the past.
