Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #11-01-XXX <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2011-2015 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN(CIP) <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Charter states that the City of Ramsey will adopt a Capital <br />Improvement Plan (CIP) annually; and <br />WHEREAS, the CIP will consist of at least five years, and will estimate the future needs <br />for the public health, safety and welfare of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the CIP shall consist of projects and facilities (capital improvements) <br />proposed to be undertaken during the next five fiscal years, which is 2011-2015 with appropriate <br />supporting information as to the necessity of such improvements, cost estimates, and method of <br />financing; and <br />WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a forecasting tool and not actual, <br />committee projects and expenditures. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The City Council of the City of Ramsey authorizes the adoption of the 2011-2015 Capital <br />Improvement Plan (CIP). <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 25th day of January, 2011. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
