I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01-11-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 9TM PARTIAL PAYTVlENT TO RICHARD KaNUTSON, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-14 (TRUNK HIGHWAY #47 STP PROJECT) WHEREAS, on February 8, 2000, the Ramsey City Council approved Improvement Project Trunk Highway #47 STP as a non-assessment project; and WHEREAS, on April 25, 2000, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #00-04- 108 awarding the bid for Trunk Highway #47 STP project to Richard Knutson, inc. in the amount of $4,288,321.34; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Steve Jankowsk/ has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. in the amount of $37,792.78. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Richard Knutson, Inc. for Trunk Highway #47 STP in the amount of $37,792.78. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of November 13th, 2001. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a sig'ned copy 0f this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council' this the 13th day of November 2001.
