-122- <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-11-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB THEATER'S APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE <br />PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT DIAMONDS SPORTS BAR AND GRILL IN <br />RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Climb Theater has applied for a premise permit for gambling at Dialnonds <br />Sports Bar and Grill, 7550 Highway 10 NW, Ramsey; and <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Climb Theater has requested Council waive the 30-day notice provision; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Climb <br />Theater to operate lawful gambling at Diamonds Sports Bar and Grill, 7550 Highway 10 <br />NW, Ramsey. <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />and upon vote <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 13th day of November, 2001. <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />OI <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> <br />
