-122- Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01-11-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB THEATER'S APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT DIAMONDS SPORTS BAR AND GRILL IN RAMSEY WHEREAS, Climb Theater has applied for a premise permit for gambling at Dialnonds Sports Bar and Grill, 7550 Highway 10 NW, Ramsey; and and WHEREAS, Climb Theater has requested Council waive the 30-day notice provision; WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 2) 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for Climb Theater to operate lawful gambling at Diamonds Sports Bar and Grill, 7550 Highway 10 NW, Ramsey. That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: and upon vote whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 13th day of November, 2001.
