Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />#Ol-ll-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO RADEMACHER COMPANIES <br /> FOR EASEMENTS RELATING TO TH 47 HIGHWAY PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey required both permanent and temporary easements <br />from Rademacher Companies for the construction of the TH 47 Highway project, and <br /> <br /> WHERAS, the City had offered compensation in an amount of $9,835 to said easements <br />on September 8, 1999, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Rademacher Companies counter-offered the September 8, 1999 offer with <br />an amount which exceeded the City's offer by $6,720, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City had an appraisal prepared in September 2000 which valued the <br />damages caused by the easement at $9,540, and: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City and Rademacher Companies have agreed on an amount of <br />$10,298.80 and compensation for the easements. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council hereby authorizes the payment of $10,298.80 to Rademacher <br />Companies as payment for the easements provided by Rademacher Companies during the <br />construction of the TH 47 project. <br /> <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
