Councihnember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #01-11-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF TWO M~16 RIFLES FROM THE <br />DRUG FORFEITURE FUND IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $1, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Finance Committee of November 13, 2001, staff presented a request <br />for the purchase of two M-16 military rifles; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the rifles can be funded from the Drug <br />Forfeiture Fund in an amount not to exceed $1,600; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of two M-16 rifles to be funded <br />from the Drug Forfeiture Fund in an amount not to exceed $1,600. <br /> <br />The motion Ibr adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by, and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> and the following voted against: <br /> and the following abstained: <br /> and the fbllowing were absent: <br /> <br /> whereupon said resolution was .declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 13rd day of November, 2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
