I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #OI-ll-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 1ST PARTIAL PAYMENT TO MAGN-EY CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR [~V[PROVEMENT PROJECT #00-29 (PUMPHOUSE NO 3) WHEREAS, on October 9, 2001, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-10- 379 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #00-29; Pumphouse No 3, to Magney Construction, Inc. in the amount of $495,500.00, and; WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended partial payment to Magney Construction, Inc. in the amount of $37,160.20. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: I) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Magney Construction, Inc. for Improvement Project #00-29, Pumphouse No 3 project in the amount of $37,160.20 on November 27, 2001. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sig-n the release form for this 'payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of November, 2001. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a sig'ned copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution, was duly seconded by Councilmember _ .... and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 27th day of November, 2001.
