Kenko, Inc. Interim Use Permit Request

Kenko, Inc. rented the old Royal Concrete property for outdoor storage and for a shop for a number of
years. When the City purchased that property we were relocated to a portion of that same property for
storage and a temporary office trailer.

We have been informed that the developer that has an option on this property may exercise that option
in the not too distance future. As a result we have been working with the City to find a more
permanent location. We currently own property in the Hwy 10 Ramsey 4th Addition, Lot 3 Block 1
and Lot 2 Block 1 (PIN R29 32 25 11 0011 & PiN R29 32 25 11 0007).

Ken_ko, Inc. is requesting an Interim Use Permit for our property at Hwy 10 Ramsey 4th Addition Lot 3
Block I and Lot 2 Block 1 (PIN R29 32 25 11 0011 & PIN R29 32 25 11 0007). This property was
originally purchased with the intent of building a shop and office with outside storage for our
construction equipment. Since that time we are aware that the future zoning of this property may not
allow that use. Therefore we are requesting that the city grant a 5 year Interim Use Permit that will
allow us the opportunity to use our property until definite zoning has been determined, and/or we are
able to find something that is suitable.

As the print shows it is our intention to fence the entire south and west property lines along with a
fence from the east property line of Lot 2 Block 1 to the north end of the property. The owner of the
property to the north already has a fence across the north section of the property. The fence would be a
6' high chain link fence. We would propose one driveway 20' wide off from 147th Ave. We would
also propose to locate an 8' X 32' mobile office in the south center of the property facing 147th Ave.
The entire fenced in area would be covered with class 5-gravel.

-121-
