Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />REQUEST FOR <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #01-11- <br /> <br /> ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR THE PLACEMENT OF A <br /> <br />TEMPORARY OFFICE STRUCTURE AND TO ALLOW FOR OUTDOOR STORAGE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Kenko, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied to <br />the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit on the property generally located at the <br />northeast corner of 147th Ave. and Ferret St. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br /> Lot 2, Block 1 and Lot 3, Block I Hwy 10 Ramsey 4th Addition, Anoka County, <br /> Minnesota. <br /> <br /> (the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY.COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing <br /> pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on November 5, 2001, and that the <br /> public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public heating are <br /> hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />2) That Kenko owns property located at the northeast corner of 147t~' Ave. and Ferret St. <br /> <br />3) That the Subject Property is zoned Industrial and the surrounding parcels are zoned <br /> Industrial. <br /> <br />4) That on October 16, 2001, the Applicant submitted a request for an interim use permit for <br /> permission to erect a temporary office building and to allow for outdoor storage. <br /> <br />5) That the applicant is proposing to place a 8' x 32' temporary office structure. <br /> <br />6) That the applicant is proposing to construct a 6' high chain fence around the outdoor <br /> storage area. <br /> <br />7) That the applicant is proposing to surface the storage area with Class 5. <br /> <br />8) That the applicant is requesting that the interim use permit be effective for five years. <br /> <br />9) That the City Council 'adopted an ordinance on June 26, 2001, placing the Kenko property <br /> within the boundaries of a 24-month development moratorium. <br /> <br /> 10) That the Ramsey Economic Development Authority, at their October 8, 2001 meeting <br /> recommended that the Planning Commission not grant the interim use permit and direct <br /> City Staff'to continue to work with Kenko to locate at an alternative site <br /> <br />11) That the subject property lies within an area that may be designated in the future as fight- <br /> of-way for a Mississippi River Bridge Crossing. <br /> <br />-127- <br /> <br /> <br />
