Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At a previous meeting, the Council authorized purchasing some 51 acres of land fi.om Waste <br />Management of Minnesota, Inc. (WMMI). Also at a previous meeting, the Council authorized <br />entering into a TIF Agreement with Twinkle Twinkle, LLC (Star Exhibits and Environments). The <br />TIF Agreement contemplates conveying to Twinkle Twinkle, LLC an approximate 14 acre tract of <br />land acquired from WMMI. A sale of the land, as you know, requires approval by ordinance. <br /> <br />The ordinance was introduced by the Council .on November 13, 2001 and is now eligible for <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Enclosure: <br /> <br />Proposed sale ordinance. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends adoption o f the sale ordinance. <br />Council Action: ~[f]~/~ ~\)~2~ <br />Motion to adopt a sale ordinance permitting the sale of an approximate 14 acre tract of City owned <br />land to Twinkle Twinkle, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company.
