CASE #: ~ <br /> <br />REPORT FROM PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE <br /> By: Public Works Staff <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Public Works Committee met on Tuesday, November 20, 2001 and discussed the following <br />four cases: <br /> <br />Case #1: Update on Potential Projects South of City Hall <br /> <br />There was discussion held and residents present to voice their concerns with the proposed <br />improvements. The Public Works Committee directed Staff tfi prepare three ~[~arate feasibilitw <br />studies for the respective improvements~ .~ ~0.~,;a £ V~/Q~9 ~'/.,~..-~~ <br />Council Action: Motion to ratify the recommendatidn of the Puglic-Works Committee <br /> <br />Case #2 Report from Highway 10 Corridor COnsultant · <br /> <br />Discussion was held regarding the vision of Highway 10 in the future. Additional information <br />will be provided at the meeting on Tuesday night. <br />Council Action: No action required ir',Y'~~v~ ~(~~ <br /> <br />Case #3 <br /> <br />Consider developer's request for elimination of emergency access gate for <br />River Pines 4th Addition - PULLED FROM AGENDA <br /> <br />Case #4 <br /> <br />Investigation of Rusty Water Complaint Expressed at the October 16, 2001 <br />Public Works Committee Meeting <br /> <br />Discussion ensued after a brief presentation was given regarding the causes of rusty water <br />complaints. The consensus of the Committee was to initiate a Customer Complaint Tracking <br />system that will identify the customer name, location, type of complaint and action taken to <br />resolve the complaint. <br /> <br />Council Action: Motion to ratify the recommendation of the Public Works Commjttee 4~'d"~ <br /> <br />CityReView bY:Administrator ?
