I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan Amendment approved in 1995 showed the <br />subject property's designated land use as commercial and medium density residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the March 2001 Draft Comprehensive Plan proposes to designate the <br />Subject Property as high density residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested that the Subject Property's land use designation <br />be changed to high density residential; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Planning CommissiOn met on September 10, 2001, conducted a <br />public hearing, and recommended that the Ramsey City Council approve the request for an <br />amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined that changing the land use designation to higl~ <br />density residential is beneficial to the City as a whole; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has reviewed and approved the proposed <br />amendment to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCBL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MIiNNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves changing the land use designation of the <br />Subject Property from Commercial and Medium Density Residential to High Density <br />Residential. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by 'Councilmember <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-12- <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br />-89- <br /> <br /> <br />
