The property itself is located on. Highway 10'.al;the Anoka-Ramsey border and <br />formally was an ICO gas station. The Coll:egelaas negotiated a five-year lease with an option to <br />purchase with th~i~r°perty 'owner, Inter CitY:0'i~ Company, Inc. He explained that the applicant <br />is requesting[°!iuse the ICO:Pr°perty as a par~ 10t'~til the end of May 2002. The College has <br />indicated, that;t~ey plan on ~ing on a more P~Ci'~'ent solution for using the property over the <br />winter mon'~..~.. Anoka-Hennepin Technical College is running short of available parking spaces <br />due to-~'bir-~eat expansf/~'~l's~,The College i}!;~r~oposing to keep the buildings up on the property <br />for the time b~i.~:-~ G~vbffth~ Iim~teaii~Ciu'~h;-0'i~ that the College is asking to .use the property asa <br />parking lot, Staff-ha rio objection at-~-~'time.
