CounciImember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #01-12- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING'. TO A <br />REQUEST TO ALLOW FOR SHORT TERM OUTDOOR STORAGE AS AN' <br />ACCESSORY USE ON A B-3 HIGHWAY BUSINESS PARCEL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Clint Wilson of Chelsea's Autos Plus, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicant", has properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for an interim use permit for <br />short term outdoor storage as an accessory use on the property located at 7665 Hwy. #10 N.W. <br />and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part Of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, Section 28, Township <br />32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: <br /> <br /> Commencing at the intersection of the west line of said Northeast Quarter of the <br /> Southwest Quarter with the northerly right-of-way line of US highway No. 10;. <br /> thence southeasterly along 'said northerly right-of-way line a distance of 625.00 feet <br /> to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence continuing <br />· southeasterly along said northerly right-of-way line a distance of 464.63 feet, more <br />or less, to a point thereon distant 386.98 feet northwesterly of the intersection of <br />said northerly right-of-way line with the east line of said Northeast Quarter of the <br />Southwest Quarter; thence northeasterly at right angles to said northerly right of <br />way line a distance of216.17 feet, more or less, to the southerly line of the <br />Burlington Northern Railroad; thence northwesterly along said southerly line of said <br />railroad a distance of 476.91 feet, more or less, to a point thereon distant 691.80 feet <br />southeasterly from its intersection with said west line of said Northeast Quarter of <br />the Southwest Quarter; thence southwesterly a distance of 195.39 feet, more or less, <br />to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> t. That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant <br /> to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey city Code on December 4, 2001, and that the public <br /> hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br /> incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />21 That the Subject Property is zoned B-3 Highway Business; the adjacent parcels to the east <br /> and west are zoned B-3 Highway Business; the property is bounded on the north by the <br /> Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad and on the south by Hwy. # 10. <br /> <br />3. That the permitted uses in the B-3 Highway Business District include motor vehicle, <br /> implement and recreational equipment sales, rental and service. <br /> <br />That the permitted accessory uses in the B-3 Highway Business District include outside <br />display areas for items for sale or rent; outdoor storage is not identified as an allowed <br />accessory use of property in this District. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />That the Applicant is requesting an interim use permit to allow for the storage of up to 40 <br />non-motorized, travel trailers in the northwest corner of the property from December 19, <br />2001 to June 1, 2002. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is not proposing to install any pavement, curbing or screening around the <br />storage area due to the limited duration of the outdoor storage activity. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />-136- <br /> <br /> <br />
