-20- <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Introduce Ordinance Amending Chapter 3 and Repealing and Replacing <br />Section 3.40 Entitled "City Funds" <br /> <br />Finance Officer Lund stated that on November 29, 1993, Chapter 3 was amended; with Section <br />3.40 entitled "City Funds" repealed and replaced. The new ordinance that was established was <br />93-17. This ordinance replaced Ordinance 84-13 that was established October 23, 1984. Based <br />on past recommendations of the City Attorney, staff proposed that Chapter 3, Section 3.40 be <br />repealed and replaced with the proposed ordinance. The proposed ordinance not only <br />incorporates all of the funds the City currently utilizes; it recommends the establishment of new <br />funds and policies on existing funds. Ms. Lund reviewed the changes that were made to the <br />Ordinance. .. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec inquir¢~ ~[~h th~'(C, puncil going to seven seats would the requirement of a <br />unanimous vote to use2he funds fi:Om.. the Equipment Revolving Fund be appropriate. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec,' C~ii~Cil~bers~Kurak, Anderson, Hendriksen, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Authorize Play Equipment Replacement for RiVer's. Bend Park <br /> .~:..; 5:~~ <br /> <br />Item was tabled. <br /> <br />Case #3: City of Anoka Swimming Pool Funding Request <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the City received a request to approphate $12,000 over the next three <br />years to purchase resident rates at the Aquatic Center in Anoka for Ramsey pool-goers. Last year <br />the City contributed $4,000 for the year 2001.
