-40- 1) Renewal of Health Insurance Contract with the Public Employers Insurance Program (PEIP) The Personnel Cormnittee recommended that a health insurance contract renewal with PEIP for 2002-2003 with a contract addendum highlighting a "no penalty clause" for early withdrawal. This renewal would be for the same level of benefit with the same eligibility criteria as currently stands, and any changes would have to come back to Council prior to being approved. The Personnel Committee also recommended that T.C. Field & Company be retained as the City of Ramsey's agent to represent the City's interests in dealing with PEIP at a fee not to exceed two percent of total insurance premiums. Motion by Councilmember Anderson, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to ratify the recommendations of the Personnel Committee. Motion carried.
