-86- <br /> <br /> Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #01-12-X~XX <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING ANOKA AREA ICE ARENA FOR A PREMISE PERMIT <br /> FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT DIAMONDS SPORTS BAR AND GRILL IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Ice Arena has applied for a premise permit for gambling at <br />Diamonds Sports Bar and Grill, 7550 Highway. 10, Ramsey; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka Area Ice Arena has requested Council waive the 30-day notice <br />provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br /> Anoka Area Ice Arena to operate lawful gambling at Diamonds Sports Bar and Grill, <br /> 7550 Highway 10, Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. <br /> <br />3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby attthorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br /> Officer to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br /> Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution' was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 18th day of December, 2001. <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />! <br />I, <br />l' <br /> <br /> <br />
