I I I '1 ,I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #01-12-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 3Rv FINAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #01-17 (WATER TOWER #2 CONNECTION) WHEREAS, on April 24, 2001, the Ramsey City Council approved by motion the plans and specifications for the above reference work; and WHEREAS, on May 22, 2001, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #01-05-215 awarding the bid for Improvement Project #01-17, Water Tower #2 Connection project to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $56,060.00; and WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson .inspected the completed work and recommended first partial payment to W.B. Miller. in the amount of $20,723.37 WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended second partial payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $43,354.79. WHEREAS, City Engineer Brian Olson inspected the completed work and recommended third and final payment to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of $3,897.54. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,. ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment, to W.B. Miller, Inc. for Improvement Project #01-17, Water Tower #2 Connection project in the amount of $3,897.54 on December 18, 2001. 2) That the City Council authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the month of December, 2001. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: RESOLUTION #01-12-XXX Page 1 of 2 -03-
