CASE #1

RECOMMEND PARK DEDICATION FOR CENTEX ADDITION
By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor

Background:

At the regular Park and Recreation Commission meeting of May, the Centex subdivision was
reviewed at the sketch plan stage. The Commission defines the general park dedication
objectives to be met with the developer. Attached is the preliminary plat case with the
enclosures for the Planning Commission to act upon at their July 12 meeting.

Observations:

The preliminary plat appears to reflect the land dedication directives of the Commission. Staff
will attempt to meet with the developer before the meeting to bring a proposal for the Stage I
improvements discussed at the May meeting. The May 10, 200I meeting minutes, itemize some
of these opportunities.

Commission Action:

Based upon discussion.

Reviewed by:

Parks/Utilities Supervisor

Copies also distributed to:

City Administrator
Community Development Director
Director of Public Works

P&R: 07/12/01
