CASE # <br /> <br /> WARD SYSTEM <br />By: Jo Thieling, City Clerk <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />A case to discuss the ward system versus precincts was placed on the February 15, 2001 Charter <br />Commission agenda. At the time of that meeting, there was a special election scheduled for <br />April. Chairperson Kiefer inquired if the Commission was interested in putting a ward system <br />question before the voters. A motion was made and seconded to table discussion on this case. <br /> <br />Staff is placing this item on the agenda, with the same background information as given at the <br />meeting of February 15.
