CASE # <br /> <br /> ADOPT ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NANIE OF <br />INDUSTRY BOULEVARD NW TO BUNKER LAKE BOULEVARD NW <br />By: Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On July 8, 2003 a Public Hearing was conducted on the proposal to change the name of Industry <br />Boulevard NW from the eastern City limits to Armstrong Boulevard NW to Bunker Lake <br />Boulevard NW. On July 22, 2003 the City Council introduced an ordinance for the name <br />change. The purpose of the name change is to create a uniform name for this major fifteen-mile <br />long arterial throughout the County. The City of Anoka has recently taken action favorable to <br />achieving this goal. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that Council pass a motion to adopt Ordinance 03-XX changing the name of <br />Industry Boulevard NW from the eastern City limits to Armstrong Boulevard NW to Bunker <br />Lake Boulevard NW. <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Ordinance~3~ changing the name of Industry Boulevard NW fi:oTM the <br />eastern City limits to Armstr'ff'ng Boulevard NW to Bunker Lake Boulevard NW. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />CC: 08/12/03 <br /> <br />-435- <br /> <br /> <br />
