I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING STAFF TO FILL THREE VACANCIES ON <br /> THE ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY TASK FORCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thee following changes in membership have left three vacancies on <br />the Environmental Policy Task Force (EPTF): <br /> · Park and Recreation Commission representative, Todd Cook, was elected to the <br /> City Council and was replaced by Park and Recreation Commissioner Michael <br /> ~ Rolfe <br /> · PONDS representative, Sarah Strommen, was also elected to the City Council. <br /> Strommen remained on the EPTF as a City Council liaison which, essentially, <br /> created a tenth seat on the EPTF. <br /> · Seth Marshall resigned from an at-large seat. It was anticipated that Mr. Marshall <br /> would be replaced by Nathan Eklund, but Mr. Eklund moved to another <br /> community and was, therefore, unable to serve. <br /> · Effective August 4, 2003 Michael Reeve resigned from his seat on the EPTF as <br /> the Planning Commission representative; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council values the work of the EPTF and would like to <br />have a full complement of members. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to authorize staff to begin the recruitment process to fill <br />three vacancies on the EPTF. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12th day of August 2003. <br /> <br />-455- <br /> <br /> <br />
