Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoptiog;, RESOLUTION #03-09-XX~ RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #03- 07 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY OF ~HISPERING PINES ESTATES; WHISPERING PINES ESTATES PLAT 4; ANI) MENKYELD PINE HILLS NORTH ) WHEREAS, a contract has been let and costs have been determined with reference to the Whispering Pines Estates; Whispering Pines Estates Plat 4, and Menkveld Pine Hills North and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the ma~ng of such improvement amount' to $198,742 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $198,742. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THF, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ]~NOI, iA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That. the portion of the cost of such improvement to be paid by the CiU of Ramsey is hereby declared to be $99.371 and the portion of the cost to be assessed against benefited property owners is declared to be $99,571. '. 2) That the principal of the assessments shall be in annual installments extending over a period of three vears: the first of the installments to be payable on or before December 31. 2003, and shall bear interest,' per annum from the date of the adoption of the assessment resolution, at the rare of two (2) percent above the U.S. Treasuu Rate. That the City Administrator_ shall calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for suc5 improvement against every assess£¢le lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard ro cash valuation,, as provided by law, and shall 51e in the cid~ offices a copy of such proposed assessment for public inspection. 4) That the City Administrator shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Ramsey City Council thereof.
