CASE~# <br /> <br />LIONS APPLICATION FOR A ONE-DAY 3.2 BEER LICENSE <br /> By: Jo Thieling, City Clerk <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Ramsey Lions have properly applied for a one-day, 3.2 beer license, for a one-day event - <br />Happy Days, the City of Ramsey's community celebration. The sales will take place on the City <br />Hall campus. The celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2003. The Lions have <br />provided the documents required. Under City Code, it is a permissible activity to ~ant a 3.2 <br />beer license to the Rarnsey Lions Club. <br /> <br />As has been done in the past, City staff is requesting Council waive the $50 license fee. The <br />Lions Club is non-profit and generously gives to the community. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve/not approve application for the Ramsey Lions Club for a one-day, 3.2 beer <br />license for Happy Days, the City of Ramsey community celebration to be held on Saturday, <br />September 13, 2003.
