The presentation x..'as focused on land use .~.aa -Lransportation element~. The <br />traffic av~'~ysis suggested that the in:.;rsection of T.H. #10 and Ramsey Boulevard would r,t be <br />able to pe~ ~. One alternative woul? l'.:aCe connections to the <br />neighbor; .~ds to the north, while -L,~e second alternative would 9e without such connec'dc:~s. <br />Written n~.'.i ;e of the pubic hearing wil'~ be given to residents olx lg-)th Lane and 149th <br /> <br />Motion to ratify the direction of the Pt~'0iic Works Committee. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Review of Highway #~ ~ Stormwater Treatmea~ Alternatives (Improvement <br />Project #99-67) <br /> <br />Staff reposed to the Committee that it had investigated five alternatives for providing storm <br />sewer to the Mississippi Subdrainage District No. 1. The feasibility study needs to be completed <br />quickly to ensure construction commences by mid-May. The alternative selected was the least <br />costly of those investigated. This alternative will provide storm sewer to all properties within the <br />district. The Committee directed staff to complete the feasibility as soon as possible using the <br />recommended alternative. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to ratify the direction of the Public Works Committee. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Update on Annual Street Maintenance Program Long-Range Planning <br /> <br />Staff programmed the annual street maintenance program for the years 2001, 2002, 2003 and <br />2004, reporting that the City's budget will need to be increased approximately $30,000 each <br /> <br /> <br />
