Last year an interceptor sewer was <br />extended to the eastern boundary of the section in conjunction with the utilities extension to <br />Burger King. Currently, the City has two municipal wells within this Section and is in the <br />process of developing a third. In 1998, County Roact (C.R.) #I 16 was extended ii,rough this <br />Section between C.R. #56 and C.R. #83. This area now has good highway access and municipal <br />utilities readily available. The CIP shows $2.3 million of improvements witk:n the eastern 149 <br />acres of section 28 in 20~0. <br /> <br />Pecause of the high p~te";!al for development of tl',is area, the City authorized a plan for this in <br />1999. SRF, Inc. has u'fil:Ted the draft Comprehens[ :~. Plan for this area and ~'~ been working on <br />various alternatives adjust;nS roadway and land u: :s within the area. SRF Ss. cheduled to make <br />a presentation of their fir ;.'.ngs at the meeting. TSe limiting factor for the development of this <br />area is the transportati<, ~, ztem.
