I

I
I
I'

Steve Jankowski, P.E.

- 8 - January 14, 2000

The directional trip distribution for the proposed site-generated traffic was based on a regional
model selected zone analysis, current travel patterns in the area and discussions with City of
Ramsey staff (see Figure 4: Directional Distribution). As shown in the land use plan, Sunwood
Drive is proposed to be extended through Section 28 to intersect with Armstrong Boulevard.
From the Anoka-Hennepin Technical College proposed site plan, the technical college/light
industrial site is assumed to have full access to Ramsey Boulevard. The background traffic
volumes were combined with the site-generated tra~.: c to develop 'projected 2005 turning
movement volumes at thc key intersections.

Future Traffic Oporrt;ons Analysis

To determine how 'wcL: '[Se existing roadway netwonc would operate, a traffic operations analysis
was conducted for ti?. year 2005 with the propooe6 developments in Section.:. 2,; rnd south of
TH I0.
