It is intended that a set of tire deflators be purchased for each of these <br />squads and that three sets of exist:~ng deflators be placed in Police vehicles not now equipped <br />with the devices. The Ford Expedition, the Investigator's car, and the vehicle normally driven by <br />the Chief would have a set ready ibr use. <br /> <br />The Police Department applied to the Department of Public Safety £vr ~ matching grant in the <br />amount of $652, which has bee~_~ zpproved.
