Without CDBG funds the Outreach Worker is only able to enter the area for Energy Assistance applications or for crisis situations, thereby dealing with crisis intervention rather than crisis prevention. With funding, the Worker would be able to serve significantly more clients, in addition to seeking out clients, providing more extensive service. C. Total estimated cost of project. The Outreach Worker also works with community groups, senior centers, city staff and other service providers to identify appropriate clients and to determine the most appropriate resources available to them. Frequently, the Outreach Worker is contacted by a ANOKA COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM, INC.
