B. Why are CDBG funds necessary for this project? <br /> <br />Without CDBG funds the Outreach Worker is only able <br />to enter the area for Energy Assistance applications or <br />for crisis situations, thereby dealing with crisis <br />intervention rather than crisis prevention. With <br />funding, the Worker would be able to serve <br />significantly more clients, in addition to seeking out <br />clients, providing more extensive service. <br /> <br />C. Total estimated cost of project. <br /> <br />Total revenue needed for the Senior Outreach Worker to <br />work 5.5 hours per week in RamL~y $3,163.00. <br /> <br />D.
