CASE # <br /> <br /> REQUEST FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL OF <br />BUSINESS PARK 95 EIGHTH ADDITION; CASE OF CITY OF RAMSEY <br />By: Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: . <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey is in the process of platting another lot in the Business Park 95 Industrial <br />Park. The area to be platted is generally north of the intersection of 140~h and Radium, and south <br />of Industry Avenue. The following items are enclosed for your review: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Proposed final plat <br />c) City Staff review letter dated February 3, 2000 <br />d) Draft Planning Commission meeting minutes <br /> available at the meeting) <br />e) Proposed final plat resolution ...... <br /> <br />dated February 1, 2000 (will be <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />In the Industrial District, the minimum lot size is 1 acre and the minimum lot width is 200 feet. <br />The proposed lot is 6.6 acres in size and is more than 300 feet wide at 140t~ and at Industry <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />The lot will be developed by Systematic Refrigeration and public access is planned from Radium <br />and 140'h. Systematic Refrigeration plans to expand to the east in the future. In the event <br />Systematic Refrigeration does not expand to the east and that property is devel~ped by another <br />business, Outlot A has been platted in the southeast corner of the plat to provide for a future <br />extension of a public street to the east if it becomes necessary. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan on February 1. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />The Planning Commission and City Staff recommend f'mal plat approval. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #00-02-.[~_~granting final plat approval to Business Park 95 Eighth <br />Addition. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />City Engineer <br /> <br />CC: 02/08/00 <br /> <br />Copies To: <br />City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
