I I I I I I I I I I I I i I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-02- RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION TO RECORD THE FINAL PLAT OF RIVER PINES 3m~ AND 4TM ADDITIONS (FORMERLY REFERRED TO AS APPLE RIDGE 4TM AND 5TM ADDITIONS) WHEREAS, Oakwood Land Development, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Developer", properly applied for final plat approval on the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: Outlot A, Apple Ridge, Anoka County, Minnesota. (the "Subject Property") WHEREAS, on May 12, 1998, the Ramsey City Council granted final plat approval to the Subject Property as Apple Ridge 4t~ ag..d 5t~ Addition; and WHEREAS, subsequent to final plat approval, the Subject Property was sold to US Home Corporation and an intent to change the title of the 2ha, 3r~, 4~ and 5~ phases of Apple Ridge to River Pines 1st, 2ha, 3~ and 4~ was demonstrated in the recording of the final plats for Apple Ridge 2na and 3ra Additions as River Pines 1~t and 2nd Additions; and WHEREAS, Section 9.50.04 (Final Plat), Subd. 3 (Recording) of the Ramsey City Code states that a final plat shall be recorded with the County Recorder within two years following the date of plat approval unless the City Council extends that period; and WHEREAS, on January 13, 2000, the City received a written request from the current developer, US Home Corporation (dba Orrin Thompson Homes), for a one year extension to record the final plat of River Pines 3~ and 4t~ Additions (aka Apple Ridge 4t~ and 5~ Additions during final plat review and approval). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF M]/qNESOTA~ as follows: 1) That the Rarnsey City Council hereby grants a one year extension to May 12, 2001 to record the final plats of River Pines 3~d Addition (aka Apple Ridge 4t~ Addition) and River Pines 4~ Addition (aka Apple Ridge 5'~ Addition) in accordance with relevant City Codes. 2) That the Developer shall enter into the development agreements that were approved by the City Council for each of the respective plats on May 12, 1998.
