Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Connolly, Anderson, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that it seems that more and more people are wanting to construct this type <br />of housing and suggested researching the issue further as an ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Kveton thanked the City Council and staffwith their help. <br /> <br />Case #4: <br /> <br />Allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that on January 25, 2000, the Ramsey City Council conducted a public <br />hearing regarding the allocation of 2000 CDBG funds in the amount of $57,134.00 and <br />reallocation of 1998 CDBG funds in the amount of $63,988.00. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen, seconded by Councilmember Anderson, to adopt <br />Resolution #00-02- to allocate 2000 CDBG funds for trail retrofits, new trail construction and <br />public service agencies. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, Connolly, <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to direct City <br />staff to advertise a 30 day comment period regarding the proposed reallocation of 1998 CDBG <br />funds for amending the Zoning Chapter in City Code and housing rehabilitation. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Conn011y, Zimmerman, <br />Anderson, and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Request for Site Plan Approval of Fire Station; Case of City of Ramsey <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik stated that the City of Ramsey has engaged the <br />services of SHE Architects to prepare a site plan for the new fire station to be developed west of <br />Armstrong Boulevard, across from 150~' Lane NW. The site is approximately five acres in size <br />and a minor subdivision must be processed to create a separate lot of record from the original 40 <br />acres. The property is zoned R-1 Rural Residential, for which Code was recently amended to <br />include fire stations as permitted uses. The facility is proposed to have one access onto <br />Armstrong Boulevard NW. The site is not in the Metropolitan Urban Service Area and will be <br />serviced with an on-site well and septic system.
