I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-02-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ADMINISTRATIVE KENNEL LICENSE APPLICATION AND ESTABLISHING AN ADMINISTRATIVE KENNEL LICENSE FEE. WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Code permits no more then two (2) dogs on a parcel or series of contiguous parcels under the same ownership or occupancy as the dog owner; and WHEREAS, on November 23, 1999 the City Council amended City Code Section 5.09.03, Subdivision 2, permitting the maintenance of three (3) dogs on a parcel or series of contiguous parcels through the application of an Administrative Kennel License; and WHEREAS, pursuant to section 5.09.03, subdivision 2 of the Ramsey City Code, a fee must be established by the City Council for an Administrative Kennel Fee; and WHEREAS, a fee in the amount of $25.00 would cover any administrative costs associated with the inspecting and processing of an Administrative Kennel License. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey approves the license as prepared pursuant to section 5.09.03, Subdivision 2 of the Ramsey City Code. 2) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey approves the license fee of $25.00 to cover any city costs associated with inspecting and processing an Administrative Kennel License pursuant to section 5.09.03, Subdivision 2 of the Rarnsey City Code. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember And upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi And the following voted against the same: And the following abstained: And the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the - 22nd of February 2000.
