CASE # <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #99-11 <br />(BITUMINOUS PAVING OF JACK]gL STREET <br /> FROM 153m~ AVENUE TO 151sa' LANE) <br /> By: Steve Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />A petition was received from 9 of 10 residents on this segment of roadway, requesting the <br />preparation of a feasibility study addressing the costs of paving this segment of street. A copy of <br />the feasibility study is attached. This project, if ordered, will be fully assessed to the benefited <br />properties in accordance with Minnesota Statute 427 and the Ramsey City Charter. Following <br />the public hearing, the Council should either accept the feasibility study or direct changes. The <br />feasibility study shall provide the basis for the project. The benefited property owners will have <br />sixty days to petition either for or against the project. If no petitions are received, the Council <br />will decide on whether the project should be ordered by directing the preparation of plans and <br />specifications at the May 9, 2000 Council meeting. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Hold public hearing and accept feasibility study OR direct changes to feasibility study. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />Director of Public Works <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />CC: 02/22/00 <br /> <br /> <br />
