Any work performed under a supplemental agreement shall not be eligible for <br />reimbursement by the FHWA through Mn/DOT unless the supplemental <br />agreement has been approved by M~ffDOT arid sufficient federal funds are <br />available. <br /> <br />The City shall request approvai from Mn/DOT for costs expected to increase <br />the Project(s)' federal participation amount, prior to incurring such costs. <br /> <br />I0. <br /> <br />The City shall prepare reports, keep records, and perform work so as to enable <br />Mn/DOT to collect the federal aid sought by the City. All records and reports <br />shall be retained by the City in accordance with Mn/DOT's record retention <br />schedule for federal aid projects. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Upon completion of the Project(s), the Project Engineer shall inspect the work <br />to determine whether or not the work should be accepted. <br /> <br />PAYMENTS. <br /> <br />It is anticipated that the entire cost of the Project(s) is to be paid from f~deraI <br />funds made available by the Federal Highway Administration, and by the <br />City. The City sti~I1 pay any part of the cost or expense of the work that the <br />Federal Highway Administration does not pay. <br /> <br />At least once a month at regular intervals, the Project Engineer shall prepare <br />a partial estimate in accordance with the terms of the contract, special <br />provisions, 'and standard specifications for the Project(s). Each partial <br />estimate shall be certified by the Project Engineer and by the Contractor. <br /> <br />'3. <br /> <br />Following certification of the partial estimate, the Contractor shall be paid <br />partial payments in accordance with the terms of the contract, special <br />provisions, and standard specifications for the Project(s). <br /> <br />Following payments to the Contractor, the City may request reimbursement <br />from Mn/DOT for costs eligible for federal participation. A copy of the <br />partial estimate shall be included with the City's request for payment. <br /> <br />Upon completion of the Project(s), the City shall prepare a final estimate in <br />accordance with the terms of the contract, special provisions, and standard <br />specifications for the Project(s).
