And excepting the North 150 feet of the Southeast Quarter <br />of the Northeast Quarter of Section 28, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, <br />AND Lot 8, AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION NUMBER 34, Anoka County, Minnesota; and <br />(The "Subject Property:); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Anoka County PIN's for the various parcels are as follows: <br /> <br />28-32-25-13-0001 <br />28-32-25-13-0005 <br />28-32-25-42-0001 <br />28-32-25-44-0010 <br />28-32-25-41-0001 <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property owner of the Subject Property has been identified by the City as <br />follows: <br /> <br />B.M.A. ASSOCIATES, a Minnesota Partnership <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />In order to carry out the purposes and objectives described above it is necessary to acquire the Subject <br /> Property. <br /> <br />The acquisition of the following Subject Property by exercise of eminent domain in the manner <br /> provided by Minnesota statute Chapter 117 serves a public interest and is deemed to be <br /> necessary. <br /> <br />The City deems it necessary for the reasons set forth above to proceed without delay under Minn. Stat. <br /> §117.042 to pay to the owners or into court a sum of money to serve as compensation to the <br /> owners of the Subject Property, which amount shall be equal to Petitioner's approved appraisal <br /> of value as determined by the City. <br /> <br />That the City Administrator is hereby directed to acquire the Subject Property in accordance <br />with Minnesota Statutes. The City Administrator is authorized to negotiate and represent the <br />City of Ramsey in all proceedings. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That if the Subject Property cannot be acquired by direct negotiation, it shall be acquired by <br />eminent domain. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 00-03- <br /> Page 3 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
