Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-03-XXX RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE MINNESOTA ReLEAF COMMUNITY FOREST HEALTH GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,900 FROM THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES - DIVISION OF FORESTRY WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has awarded the Minnesota ReLeaf Community Forest Health Grant to the City for the past several years;and WHEREAS, the City has been approved for an additional grant in the amount of $I9,900 through the end date of June 30, 2001; and WHEREAS, the grant funds have been used to offset the cost of the City's Oak Wilt program. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council authorizes the City to accept the 1999-2001 Minnesota ReLeaf Community Forest Health Grant from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources - Department of Forestry. 2) Authorizes the City Administrator to sign all necessary documentation for submittal of the grant. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 14t~' day of March 2000.
