There has been a lot of vandalism in the area and she's requesting
that a street light be installed at the comer of 166th Avenue and Jasper.

Councilmember Hendriksen suggested adding the item as a case for the next Public Works
Committee meeting.

Director of Public Works Kapler noted that he did review the site and that the area is indeed a
primary route for plowing. The current priority street lighting plan is reserved for State, County
and MSA roads which means the area does not technically fit the mold for street lighting. Mr.
Kapler stated that he will add the issue to the March 21st Public Works Committee agenda.

Public Works Committee/February 15, 2000
