I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #00-03- A RESOLUTION ALLOCATING 2000 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS . WHEREAS, the City of Rarnsey receives an annual allocation of CDBG funds from Anoka County; and WHEREAS, the 1999 and 2000 allocation totals $57,134.00; and WHEREAS, on January 25, 2000, the Kamsey City Council conducted a public hearing regarding the use of CDBG funds; WHEREAS, on February 8, 2000, the City Council adopted Resolution #00-02-040 to apply to Anoka County for the use of the funds as follows: a) $8,500 for public service agencies; b) $39,000 for a trail from the Senior apartment building to Solstice Park; c) $8,634 for ADA Trail Retrofits; and ..... WHEREAS, on March 2, 2000, the City received verbal notice from Anoka County that new trail construction does not qualify for CDBG funds unless the trail is in a low to moderate income neighborhood; and WItEREAS, the Ramsey City Council met on March 14, 2000 to consider alternative projects for the unallocated $39,000.00. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That the City of Ramsey hereby applies to Anoka County for the allocation of 2000 CDBG funds in the amount of $57,134.00 for the following projects: Public Service Agencies Community Emergency Assistance Program Rise Family Life Mental Health Center N.W.
