ORDINANCE # 00 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDMSION OF LAND CHAPTER. AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 9.03.04 SUBDMSION 7 ENTITLED "DURATION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS," AMENDING SECTION 9.02 OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE ENTITLED "DEFINITIONS", AND ADDING SECTION 9.03.04A ENTITLED "INTERIM USE PERMITS" The City of Ramsey hereby ordains as follows: Section 1 Authori _fy This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the charter of the City of Ramsey. Section 2 .Repe.al The following language in Section 9.03.04 Subdivision 7 (Duration of Conditional Use Permits) is hereby repealed: Subd.7. Duration of Conditional Use Permits. A conditional use permit shall remain in effect as long as the conditions agreed upon are observed and the permit holder is in compliance with all other regulations or standards oft/tis Chapter. In addition, one of the conditions may include a specified time limit for the conditional use. SectiOn 3 Amendment Section 9.02, entitled "Definitions" shall be amended to add the following term and definition: "Interim Use": Temporary use of property until a particular date, until the occurrence of a particular event or until zoning regulations no longer permit it, Section 4 Amendment Section 9.03.04A, entitled "Interim Use Permits" shall be added as follows: Subdivision 1. Purpose. The purpose and intent of allowing interim uses is (1) to allow a use for a limited period of time that reasonably utilizes the property where it is not reasonable to utilize it in the manner provided in the comprehensive guide; and (2) to I I I !
