Shortly thereafter on March 23, 2000, Mr. Swanson resigned fi:om his <br />position as a full-time Public Works Maintenance Worker to accept a position in Milaca. <br /> <br />At the Personnel Committee Meeting on January 11, 2000, a motion was made <br />recommending that City Council authorize staff to fill one Public Works Maintenance <br />Worker position and consequently staff has been accepting applications for this full-time <br />position. Roughly twenty applications have been received so far. With Mr. Swanson's <br />resignation, Public Works now has a s~ond vacant position. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that City Council accept Mr. Swanson's resignation and authorize staff <br />to hire an additional full-time Public Works Maintenance Worker fi:om the hiring process <br />already underway for the other Public Works position.
