CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER. AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 9.03.04 SUBDMSION 7 ENTITLED "DURATION OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS~" AMENDING SECTION 9.02 OF CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE ENTITLED "DEFINITIONS", AND ADDING SECTION 9.03.04A ENTITLED "INTERIM USE PERMITS" The City of Ramsey hereby ordains as follows: Section 1 Authority_ This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the charter of the City of Ramsey, Section 2 Repeal The following language in Section q.03.04 Subdivision 7 (Duration of Conditional Use Permits) is hereby :epealed: Subd.7. In addition, one of the conditions may include a specified time limit for the conditional use. Section 3 Amendment Section 9.02, entitled "Definitions" shall be amended to add the following term and definition: "Interim Use": Temporary use of property until a particular date or until the occurrence ora particular event. Section 4 Amendment Section 9.03.04A, entitled "Interim Use Permits" shall be added as follows: Subdivision 1. Purpose. The purpose and intent of allowing interim uses is (t) to allow a use for a limited period of time that reasonably utilizes the property where it is not reasonable to utilize it in the manner provided in the comprehensive guide; and (2) to allow a use that is presently acceptable but that, with anticipated development will not be acceptable in the future.
