This ordinance was patterned after a model ordinance prepared by the Minnesota <br />League of Municipalities. At that meeting, representatives for Connexus Energy requested an <br />opportunity to meet with City staff to review a number of concerns with this model ordinance. <br /> <br />Following review of a number of proposed changes suggested by Connexus and review by the <br />City Engineer, the City Attorney, and ultimately, the Public Works Committee, the amended <br />ordinance was reintroduced on March 21, 2000. With the exception of the definition of <br />excavate, Section 4.10.02, the ordinance is now ready to consider for adoption.
