The Park and Recreation Commission and City staff are recommending <br />that the play equipment be either sold or suggest that it could be available to an organization in <br />lieu of the installation labor. A day-care, for instance, may have a need for the structure(s) and <br />also have a network of residents eager to participate in the construction. <br /> <br />It is recommended that this advertisement for proposals be in the Anoka County Union, Shopper, ' <br />and in the Ramsey Resident for two issues. In approximately February 2000, proposals or <br />outright sale can be approved by City Council, allowing for an April 2000 installation and <br />completion of the project. Attached for your information is the April 27, 1999, Finance <br />Committee case which includes additional background relating to this project. Also attached is <br />the play structure design that the Park and Recreation Commission approved on December 9, <br />1999. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to approve/not approve Resolution #99-12-X.
